Job Description
The South Glens Falls High School has an anticipated vacancy for a music teacher. The successful candidate will be expected to instruct students in various aspects of music including music theory, vocal techniques, music history, and performance skills. The teacher will also lead an an a capella performance group; preparing the group for school performances, community events, and potential competitions. All newly employed teacher’s placement on the salary schedule is determined by education and prior experience. Recent experience in the certification area to which the individual is to be appointed and in a public school system similar to South Glens Falls is granted year for year.
