The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages. This position involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their guitar skills while encouraging their musical creativity. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels. Teach guitar techniques, music theory, and performance skills to students of various ages and backgrounds. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and motivation. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a focused learning environment. Collaborate with other instructors to create interdisciplinary programs that may include elements of culinary arts or photography as they relate to music. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methods and stay current with music education trends. Requirements Proven experience in teaching guitar or music education, preferably with children or young adults. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and how they apply to music instruction. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Experience working with students in various settings, demonstrating patience and effective communication skills. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to ensure a positive classroom environment. A background in ballet or other performing arts is a plus but not required. Enthusiasm for educating others and sharing your passion for music is essential. Submit lesson plans , quarterly reports.
