Job Description
Elementary Music Teacher Young World Educational Services Pawtucket, RI 02861 Currently seeking P/T Elementary Music Teachers to teach General Music/Chorus, for grades Pre K-8 in Catholic Elementary schools in Pawtucket and Warwick, RI for the remainder the 25-26 school year. Candidates must be available 2 to 3 days per week. Although certifications are not required, ideal candidates will have a solid background in music and classroom mangement, be enthusiastic, enjoy working with children, and available school day hours. New graduates, retired teachers and musicians/vocalists with strong organization skills and or experience working with children are welcome to apply. Please submit resume.
Some responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement engaging music lessons for elementary students
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their growth
- Organize and lead school performances and events showcasing student talents
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
