Positions Available:
Piano Teacher Guitar Teacher (Acoustic/Electric, Classical a plus)
Responsibilities:
Teach private lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels Develop individualized lesson plans and track student progress Communicate with parents and staff professionally Prepare students for performances, recitals, or exams if applicable Maintain a punctual, professional presence during teaching hours Create a positive learning atmosphere during lessons. Organize and prepare students for performances, recitals, and competitions. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Maintain a safe and organized environment conducive to learning. Requirements Proficiency in instrument(s) taught Ability to make a minimal 1 year commitment to students. Previous teaching experience preferred (1+ year ideal) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students through music education. Reliable transportation to and from the studio or student homes (if traveling) Ability to work evenings and/or weekends Proven experience in teaching music to children and adults. Must be able to pass a background check Background in lesson planning with a focus on engaging instructional methods. Experience working with students in various settings, including home lessons or online lessons.. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
