The ideal candidate loves working with young children and can create a fun, engaging environment through singing, rhythm, and movement. If you?re enthusiastic about inspiring little learners through music, we?d love to hear from you! Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate music lessons for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Introduce children to basic musical concepts through singing, rhythm games, instruments, and movement. Foster a love for music in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. Use a variety of instruments and props to enhance learning and participation. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate music into the broader curriculum. Prepare and lead performances or musical activities for special events or seasonal programs. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space. Encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence through musical exploration. Monitor children?s participation and adjust activities based on their developmental needs. Communicate effectively with parents and staff about classroom activities and student progress. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Music, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred. Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting. Strong musical ability (e.g., singing, rhythm, basic instrument use); ability to play guitar, piano, or another accompaniment instrument is a plus. Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate music activities. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Energetic, creative, and patient personality with a passion for early childhood education. Ability to plan and lead engaging music lessons that promote learning and fun. Must pass background checks and meet all state/local licensing requirements for working in a childcare facility. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
