Student Ministry Coordinator Marco Presbyterian Church 875 West Elkcam Circle, Marco Island, FL 34145 Overview Marco Presbysterian Church has a ministry opportunity for a Student Ministry Coordinator on Marco Island. This part time position requires a person serve as a mentor, teacher and guide. She or he will create and foster relationships and programs that introduce students to Jesus and grow their faith in Him. Duties Provide care and counseling to students Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all students Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers Develop and lead weekly Bible studies and clubs Develop and lead outreach initiatives to engage non-Christian students Communicate regularly with every student in our database Plan and organize special events such as retreats, camps, and mission trips Collaborate and communicate regularly with parents and volunteers to inform them about events, activities, and opportunities Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of programs and make necessary adjustments Create and manage the student ministry budget Maintain regular office hours and attend staff meetings Qualifications Possess strong personal faith and a current church affiliation Possess experience and passion for working with students Commit to the mission and values of Marco Church Commit to local presence on Marco Island and in East Naples Desire to grow in your faith and see others grow with you Show history of initiative, humility, and teachability Be childsafe certified and successfully complete background checks Have ability to identify issues requiring discretion and maintain confidentiality Join us in spreading hope to students and families with the truth of Jesus on Marco Island and the surrounding area.
