Role Description:

Cornerstone Family Church’s mission is to help people and families follow Jesus. We are situated in one of Florida’s fastest-growing communities in Central Florida. Applicants must be committed to making Cornerstone Family their church home and the place where they connect, grow, worship, and serve. The Student Ministry Pastor is responsible for running the church’s Middle School and High School age environments. The Student Ministry Pastor plays a large role in creating a healthy and grace-oriented student culture. The candidate will partner with parents to equip them with tools and resources that connect teaching moments at church with what happens at home.

A genuine love for God and a heart for leading young people A clear testimony and evidence of a growing relationship with Jesus A humble and teachable spirit A redemptive and grace based approach toward discipling people Strong leadership, teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills A college degree in ministry or in a related field Ability to relate well with church members, staff, students and students’ parents A working knowledge of multiple social media platforms Experience with project management, time management and collaboration skills with minimal supervision You will be responsible for: Teaching biblical principles using Orange ministry curriculum for discipleship Recruiting, developing, and leading volunteer teams who will execute ministry Ensuring that each student service is planned and programmed in a timely fashion Creating meaningful prayer times and team unity during pre-service huddles Maintaining a budget in relation with the vision of the Family Life department Participating in ministry meetings and events Leveraging marketing tools within the church to advertise and connect students Executing other various tasks the Family Life Pastor may require

$42,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
