Role:

The Student Ministry Director is primarily responsible for creating worship experiences, building authentic relationships, and fostering spiritual growth within the Student Ministry. This role involves developing, planning, and implementing all aspects of the worship experience for students, including service planning, volunteer scheduling, preaching, and other necessary elements to achieve a meaningful worship experience. Additionally, the Student Ministry Director organizes engaging events and activities designed to help students grow closer to Jesus and develop a lifelong relationship with Him. A key aspect of this role is cultivating an inviting and evangelistic culture, encouraging students to share their faith and actively invite others into the community. By fostering an environment where students feel welcomed and empowered to spread the message of Jesus, the Student Ministry Director helps build a thriving, outreach-focused ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

Be committed to helping people follow Jesus & find life overseeing The Summit Church’s overall Student experiences and supporting environments. Collaborate with other staff members to plan and execute major student events. Typical events include two major events per semester, a summer party and our own in-house Student Camp. Will strive to build relationships with members of The Summit Church to recruit, build, and maintain a volunteer team including worship and production, adult leaders, tech teams and other teams as needed Serve as the primary communicator while building a robust teaching team. Serves in other capacities as necessary to bridge the gap between kids ministry and student ministry.
