Job Description
SUMMARY We are seeking a short-term, part-time Interim High School Ministry Assistant to support the Lead High School Minister in preparing for and executing the Fall 2025 ministry semester. This role will primarily focus on recruiting and onboarding volunteer leaders for the fall, assisting with event planning, and providing basic administrative and communication support. This is a temporary position that will conclude at the end of December 2025 as part of a strategic plan to stabilize ministry rhythms while the church searches for a permanent High School Girls Minister.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church. + Assists the Campus Pastor to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry. + As a part of the overall Reservoir Campus team, participate in campus-wide ministry + events and the shepherding of our Reservoir Campus faith family. + Basic personal responsibilities: + Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3. + Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children). + Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you. + Maintain active participation in community. + Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality. + Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24). + Value the 7 H’s of our staff culture in your heart, home, and life (Humility, Honor, Honesty, Hunger, Holy Spirit, Health and Harmony).
SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leader Recruitment & Onboarding (July-August) + Collaborate with the Lead High School Minister to identify leader needs and profiles + Help compile, organize, and contact a list of prospective leaders + Schedule and assist with interest meetings, vision coffees, or calls + Coordinate onboarding steps (applications, background checks, interviews) Ministry Support & Logistics (September-November) + Assist with leader communication and care (weekly updates, check-ins, + encouragement) + Maintain organized leader and small group rosters + Help coordinate logistics for events, retreats, and Sunday night gatherings + Support administrative tasks as needed (forms, sign-ups, materials prep) Semester Wrap-Up (December) + Help prepare leader thank-you gifts and appreciation moments + Assist in evaluating the semester and preparing spring documentation + Organize files, contact lists, and resources for smooth transition to spring
QUALIFICATIONS

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. + Organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through + Effective communicator, both written and verbal + Able to take initiative and work independently + Familiarity with student ministry, church leadership, or volunteer coordination preferred + Comfortable in a temporary/short-term ministry assignment + Able to cast effectively cast the vision of the Lead High School Pastor to a potential volunteer.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree minimum; and four to six years of related experience and/or training.
