The Tri-County Technical College Arts and Sciences Division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Philosophy Adjunct Instructors. Reporting to the Associate of Arts Department Head, successful candidates will teach Introduction to Philosophy courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Classes are offered during the day, evening, and at various Tri-County Technical College community campuses within Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties.

The Philosophy Adjunct Instructor role is a part-time employment role. Successful candidates will be required to teach face-to-face instruction at one of our four community campuses (Anderson, Easley, Pendleton, or Oconee). Online instruction is not available.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Minimum education requirements of master’s degree in philosophy or a master’s degree plus 18 graduate hours in the philosophy discipline.
