Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Elementary PE Teacher to join our team at Navigator Academy of Leadership, Inc. As an Elementary PE Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive physical education program for students in grades K-5. You will work closely with other teachers and staff to ensure that our students receive a well-rounded education that includes physical fitness and healthy habits. Your main goal will be to inspire and motivate our students to lead active and healthy lifestyles both in and out of school.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field Valid teaching certification in the state of Florida Experience teaching physical education to elementary school students Strong knowledge of state and national physical education standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Physical Education or related field Experience coaching youth sports teams Certification in CPR and First Aid Experience working with diverse student populations Experience integrating technology into physical education instruction

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education program for students in grades K-5 Create lesson plans that align with state and national standards Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education into the overall curriculum Promote physical fitness and healthy habits among students
