The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education and experience in teaching various sports and activities. This role involves educating and inspiring students of all ages, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Instructor will be responsible for developing lesson plans, conducting classes, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for swim instruction, martial arts, cheerleading, basketball, and other physical education activities. Educate students on the fundamentals of each sport or activity while promoting teamwork, discipline, and respect. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment. Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health club policies and procedures. Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages participation from all skill levels. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings and share best practices. Experience Proven experience in teaching physical education or coaching sports is preferred. Background in swim instruction, martial arts (such as judo), cheerleading, or basketball is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively. Experience in behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs. A passion for promoting health and fitness within the community is essential.
