Physical Education & Health Teacher Acton School Department 700 Milton Mills Road, Acton, ME 04001 PreK-8 Physical Education/Health Teacher Acton Elementary School – Acton, Maine Full-Time – 2025-2026 School Year Acton Elementary School is seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education/Health Teacher to serve students in grades Pre-K through 8 , starting August 27, 2025. We are a small, supportive rural school that values the whole child and promotes a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a comprehensive PE and health curriculum aligned with state and national standards.
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and lifelong wellness.
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with staff to support student development.

Qualifications:

• Maine certification in Physical Education and Health Education required (or eligibility to obtain).
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with PreK-8 students preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about promoting healthy lifestyles.
