Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic PE and Health Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about physical education, knowledgeable in health and wellness topics, and committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. This role includes teaching physical education classes, delivering health curriculum, and encouraging lifelong fitness and wellness habits.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education and health lessons Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy habits Develop a curriculum that meets state and national standards Assess student progress and maintain accurate records Organize school-wide wellness events and activities Collaborate with other faculty and contribute to the overall school culture Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field Valid NH teaching certification in PE/Health (or eligibility to obtain) Previous teaching experience preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills CPR/First Aid certification preferred
