PUBLIC SCHOOLS JOB DESCRIPTION
Tenure Track /10-Month Position – Physical Education Start Date – September 2025
Qualifications:
Hold a Physical Education Certification.
Reports To:
Building Principal Instructional Planning:
Plan instruction consistent with the district-approved curriculum Apply principles of teaching/learning to enhance student achievement. Utilize teaching methods that are appropriate for the objectives and learners. Modify the instruction to meet student needs. Communicate effectively about student progress to students and their parents/ guardians. Establish clear expectations for appropriate behavior. Follow Board of Education policies, school procedures, and any other rules, regulations, or policies that the central or building administration may establish. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Principal, within the parameters of the hour, terms and conditions of employment as negotiated.
Terms of Employment:
This is a ten (10) month position with salary and contract terms to be negotiated with the Superintendent and the Board of Education.
Evaluation:
Performance in this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
