Description The Department of Specialized Programs in Education at Hofstra University cordially invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions in the field of Health and Physical Education. The commencement of these positions is anticipated in September 2025. The rank of faculty members is contingent upon their teaching experience and professional record. The additional teaching load per semester will be determined by the department’s specific requirements. The Health and Physical Education program is specifically seeking an adjunct faculty member to instruct courses across the Bachelor of Science in Physical Education (BSPE) and Master of Science in Physical Education (MSPE) programs, as well as the Dual Degree in Health Education and Physical Education program, as needed. The instructor is expected to facilitate instruction in both in-person and hybrid learning environments. Furthermore, upon meeting the qualifications, the position may entail responsibilities for student advising and program direction. Qualifications Earned a master’s degree or the equivalent in Health and Physical Education or related area is required.
Must hold licensure as a K-12 Health and Physical Education Teacher.
