The ideal candidate will inspire students to engage in physical activities, promote a healthy lifestyle, and develop motor skills through various sports and fitness programs. This role requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages students to achieve their personal best. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging physical education curricula that align with state standards and educational goals. Teach students the fundamentals of various sports, fitness activities, and healthy lifestyle choices. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement and growth. Create a safe and positive learning environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. Organize and supervise physical education events, competitions, and extracurricular activities. Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education with academic subjects. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress in physical education classes. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student development and program updates. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred. Good knowledge of sports, fitness principles, and health education practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages. Experience working with diverse populations in an educational setting is a plus. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
