We are seeking a Physical Education Teacher for our Upper School who can begin in August 2025.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Upper School Physical Education Teacher who will engage and inspire students, foster strong communication with parents and colleagues, and contribute to our mission of developing students to become responsible, honest, compassionate, and respectful citizens.
Responsibilities:
The ability to create and maintain positive relationships with middle and high school students. Frequent communication with students, parents, and other colleagues. Willingness to work collaboratively as a team and participate in the overall life of our school community. Design and deliver engaging lessons that cover a variety of physical activities, sports, and fitness routines appropriate for different age groups. Teach rules, techniques, and strategies for various sports and games, emphasizing skill development and fair play. Foster positive behavior and sportsmanship, encouraging teamwork, respect, and perseverance.
Soccer:
Player Development:
Train and mentor athletes to improve their skills, fitness, and understanding of the game.
Game Strategy:
Develop tactics, formations, and game plans tailored to the team’s strengths and weaknesses.
Practice Management:
Organize and lead regular practices, ensuring both individual and team development.
Sportsmanship & Discipline:
Foster a positive team culture, enforce rules, and ensure players uphold high standards of conduct.
Communication:
Maintain strong relationships with players, parents, school administrators, and the community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education is required. Experience working with middle and high school students in both physical education and health. Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Rate:
$55,000-$75,000 plus coaching stipend
Benefits:
