At Dominus High School, students are engaged in a career ownership-focused curriculum that will equip them with the knowledge and skills to become successful leaders. As a teacher at Dominus High School, you will develop the leaders of tomorrow in an innovative educational environment. Plan, organize, and implements an appropriate instructional program to guide and encourage students to develop and fulfill their full academic potential. Dominus High School teachers are required to participate in committee activities to achieve schoolwide strategic goals. Our Health and Physical Education Program equips students with essential skills for lifelong wellness, physical fitness, and health literacy while integrating concepts from entrepreneurial education. Aligned with state requirements, this program emphasizes informed decision-making, goal setting, and personal responsibility. Physical Education for 9th and 10th grade emphasizes holistic fitness, combining physical and mental well-being through activities that promote lifelong wellness. Students will exercise cardiovascular conditioning, yoga and mindfulness practices, sport-specific skills, and strength training to improve flexibility, endurance, and overall fitness. The course balances mental focus and physical activity.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s and or Master’s Degree in Education is required Active PA Health/Phys. Ed. certification is required Extensive knowledge of the Pennsylvania State and PA Core Standards Experience in teaching a non-basal curriculum Minimum 3 years of lead classroom teacher experience preferred Entrepreneurship experience highly desirable, but not required
