Located at our Tatamy Creek campus in Easton, PA, you’ll have the chance to engage with students and make a positive impact on their health journey. Buxmont Academy has 6 campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Classes are small with a high teacher to student ratio, and our staff work together as a part of an educational team for each student. As the health & PE teacher at Buxmont Academy, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote physical activity, health education, and overall well-being for students. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to support their growth. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues to integrate health and fitness concepts across the curriculum, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include organizing and supervising physical activities, promoting healthy lifestyles, and serving as a positive role model for students. Required Skills/Abilities:

Desire to teach secondary school-aged students and ability to adapt to their developmental status. Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high stress situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
