School of the Arts Hartsville, SC 29550 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student growth and development. This role requires creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage students in various subjects, including literacy, math, and physical education. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach core subjects such as math and literacy education, ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a safe and respectful environment conducive to learning. Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities. Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience in private school settings is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in lesson planning and classroom management techniques. Ability to teach physical education effectively, promoting health and wellness among students. Familiarity with literacy education strategies is highly desirable.
