JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Lehigh Valley is seeking multiple part-time lecturers to teach Security and Risk Analysis and Cyber Analytics and Operations undergraduate courses within its Cyber Analytics and Operations (CAO) degree program starting Fall 2025 Semester.

Candidates must be able to teach courses in, but not limited to:

AIREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualification is a master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Science, or a closely related fieldDuties include teaching one to three undergraduate level courses (1-3 credits each up to a maximum of 9 credits per semester each spring, and/or fall semester depending on expertise and needs). Additional duties may vary by assignment.

Teaching duties may require teaching day, evening or weekend classes depending on the needs of the class being taught.

Candidates must be available to teach in-person courses.

Courses are primarily taught using an in-person (on campus) modality. Courses may also be taught in a variety of modalities, including hybrid options of classroom and synchronous or asynchronous modalities, depending on the needs of the program.

A teaching review will occur during your first semester of teaching.
