The ideal candidate will possess previous classroom teaching experience as well as proven leadership skills, including having a proactive mindset, taking initiative, and understanding long-term planning as a growth strategy. Candidates will show strong leadership skills through accountability, coaching, and empowerment of team members, promoting compliance and excellence in the program. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for children. Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Manage staff training, performance evaluations, and retention to maintain a high-quality team. Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community to promote collaboration and support. Conduct strategic planning to enhance educational offerings and improve overall program effectiveness. Operate within the program budget with a strong emphasis on payroll optimization, staff scheduling, and cost-savings Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to early childhood education. Educate staff on best practices in early childhood development and effective teaching strategies. Experience with various operating systems including parent engagement apps (Procare/Brightwheel/Hi Mama, Lead Management Systems including ChildCare CRM, Constant Contact or Intellikids, MS Office, and Google applications) Conducting staff meeting, training, observation, and feedback sessions with employees Requirements Associate’s Degree in ECE, Elementary Education, Leadership or related field preferred Proven classroom teaching experience within in an ECE, Preschool, Child Care, or other similar environment;
MINIMUM 2 YEARS LEAD CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Proven experience in a leadership role within a
LICENSED
educational setting, particularly in early childhood education. Strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and managing educational programs including program compliance, payroll and forecasting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff. Ability to foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth and development for all students. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in early childhood education.
