The Assistant Director’s primary responsibility is to provide a safe and nurturing environment every day for the children in the center’s care while offering peace of mind to their parents.
Basic Job requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate’s degree in areas of Child Development, Early Childhood Education, related field, or Business degree and experience in school administration
- Minimum of 1 to 3 year of management experience in a childcare facility
- Able to meet all Federal and State requirements for the childcare industry Essential Job Functions
- Assist Center Director in all aspects of center’s function.
Including:
staffing, training, supervising, hiring, disciplinary procedures, maintenance of building, and purchasing supplies
