Preschool Program Director Confidential Broward County, FL The Program Director works with early learning teachers to improve the quality of their lessons and the quality of student’s education. Seeks to establish CLASS outcomes in the classrooms. They serve as mentors and role models helping teachers stay fresh and use the latest techniques and technologies in their classrooms. We are looking for a positive, energetic, faith filled, and creative individual to join our talented and family oriented staff. This candidate would need to have strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills and be eager to start immediately on a path of shared learning. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, patient, and easy-going personality with a focus on servant leadership (serving others) while also being very perceptive, responsible, and disciplined. Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency and familiar with early childhood rules and regulations set by the state. Duties of this position include but are not limited to Implement learning activities Familiar with lesson planning; Teaching Strategies Pre-School Curriculum Supervise teachers – provide mentoring Establishing a network/support system and assisting our teachers Training and monitoring teacher progress Providing timeline, calendars, and schedules Providing feedback to parents Hosting parent meetings Assist Director with day to day preschool operations Coach teachers in all responsibilities of the classroom; ect; classroom management, lesson planning, ect. Monitor all classrooms/facility (adhere to proper state regulations) Coach will be responsible for managing day to day teacher engagements and planning; approximately 10+ teachers Maintain center paperwork: staff files updated to DCF standards, in-service hours, monthly events Enforce school policies and programs Tour the facility when needed it Assisting in hiring Monitoring staff to ensure they are accurately performing Monitors daily license ratios
