Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Duties:
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes the overall development of preschool children.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain open communication with parents, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain a clean and organized facility.
- Collaborate with community organizations to enhance the preschool program and provide additional resources for students.
Requirements:
- Lifeways Certification or previous Waldorf experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a preschool setting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
