We offer a fun, social setting for children of all disabilities. We are looking for an Afterschool and Summer Camp Director to plan and oversee all afterschool and camp activities, manage all counselors, and participate in the direct care of the campers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in education, early childhood, special needs, therapy field or related course of study 2 years of experience working with children 2 years of experience with leadership and group facilitation Passion for children and enriching their lives Creativity and flexibility Previous camp experience preferred Experience with children with special needs preferred

Responsibilities:

Fall and Spring:

August through mid-May (Part-time, 20 hours/week, 2pm – 6pm) Run Afterschool Program Maintain staff schedule Plan activities for ongoing camps Facilitate on-going staff development Develop camp schedule, plan activities

Summer:

mid-May through August (Full-time, 40 hours/week) Oversee all camp operations Active camp counselor duties Staff development

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$14.00 – $16.00 per hour
