• Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Gym Director to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our children’s fitness programs.

We offer physical activity classes to children 3 months to 7 years in age. In this role, you will manage daily activities, teach classes, oversee staff, handle administrative tasks, and work closely with the owner to execute marketing strategies and community outreach. Your focus will be on creating a positive, fun environment for both staff and kids while maintaining high standards of safety, training, and customer service. • Job Description As the My Gym EdgewaterDirector, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring our programs run smoothly.

Your responsibilities include:

Program Management Lead weekly classes, weekend birthday parties, seasonal camps, and special events. Administrative Tasks Process payments, confirm guests, and handle no-shows. Ensure attendance and communication are accurate. Manage guest follow-up and return calls/emails. Weekly Meeting Prep Prepare and delegate tasks for staff meetings. Review curriculum, safety, and staff training. Staff Management Oversee staff schedules, handle time-off requests, and ensure coverage. Maintain up-to-date staff contact lists.

Marketing & Advertising:

Research and participate in community events and lead generating events; assist with social media and email campaigns. Hiring & Training Post job ads, interview, and train new employees. Conduct performance evaluations and support ongoing staff development. Facility Maintenance Oversee daily cleaning, and periodic major cleaning events. Ensure equipment and facility are in top condition.
