Preschool Director Safety Harbor Little School Safety Harbor, FL 34695 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Director to lead our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. The Preschool Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring compliance with educational standards, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere for both staff and students. Duties Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality of education and care provided at the preschool. Manage the preschool budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining high standards of service. Lead, mentor, and support teaching staff in their professional development and educational practices. Educate parents and guardians about the preschool’s programs, policies, and child development principles. Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to early childhood education. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication among staff, parents, and the community. Organize and oversee curriculum development that aligns with educational standards and best practices in early childhood education. Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary. Qualifications A degree from a recognized university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in education administration or leadership roles within an early childhood setting. Active Director Credential Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, parents, and community stakeholders. A deep understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Ability to create a positive learning environment that supports the growth of children.
