Job Overview:
The Assistant Director of Operations will play a critical role in assisting the school’s operational strategy and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess at least a year of childcare administration experience.
Hours:
9:30am
- 6:30pm
Pay Rate:
Starting at $18.00 per hour (commensurates with experience and education)
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensures DCF compliance in all areas, as well as center’s standard operating procedures
- Assists with daily supervision of staff, including scheduling and required continue education training
- Tracks all monetary transactions with customers and vendors
- Develops and actively maintains positive communication with parents
- Responds and follows up on enrollment inquiries and conducts center tours with families
- Oversees physical condition of building, contents and playground
- Takes an active role in planning and participating in activities, such as staff meetings, training sessions, community events and open houses
- Drives 14 passenger bus to/from field trips & elementary schools for before/after school program
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
: Candidate must have an Associates or Bachelors’ Degree in Early Childhood Education or in a related field, possess Florida Director’s Credential or CDA with willingness to obtain Director’s Credential with 6-months of hire date, have a minimum of 1 year of experience in early childhood administration, and must be CPR and First Aid certified. The individual must be tech savvy (i.e., MS Office, Social Media, newsletters, etc.) and eager to learn center’s internal computer systems & programs. ~We offer a competitive hourly wage, paid holidays and vacation days, flexible schedules, supplemental insurance as well as an online training suite to help keep you up to date on the latest trends in childcare.
