Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Center Director to lead their brand-newchildcare center being built in St. Augustine, FL (St. John’s). The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a genuine love for children, and a strong commitment to education. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Monday-Friday; year-round employment Expected opening date is in early 2026 (January or February) Benefits Monthly stipend toward medical insurance premiums Dental/vision insurance available Free tuition for up to two children and 50% discount for additional children Paid time off Paid holidays Professional development opportunities Responsibilities Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future Develop strong relationships with families Comply with state childcare licensing regulations Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment Willingness to serve in various roles as needed Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records Qualifications

REQUIRED
Leadership Experience:

At least 3-years of continuous experience as a Director in a licensed childcare center or preschool with at least 85 enrolled students and at least 20 employees; experience opening a new school strongly preferred Experience with Gold Seal Quality Care certification required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility
