Executive Director 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 4245 Cascade Road SW, Atlanta, GA 30331 Overview Indelible Impressions Learning Center seeks an Executive Director with a culturally responsive and equitable approach. This individual also ensures professional development opportunities for staff, upholding the overarching responsibilities to the children and their families. The Executive Director uphold Christian principles and demonstrate a thorough understanding of high-quality programming in alignment with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL): Quality Rated System and Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS). Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (Licensing, GELDS and Quality Rated Standards) and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NEAYC) Evaluate and maintain continual program improvement Manage onboarding and employment decisions Maintain staffing and student ratios in alignment with all governing agencies Maintain center, staff, and student records (including all GA licensing required components) Develop and manage operational budget (QuickBooks proficiency preferred) Manage school account and present routine reports to Accountant and Board of Directors Manage marketing and enrollment Develop and execute policies and procedures that ensure the well-being of children Update personnel and operational procedures (Facilities Management and Risk Management) Establish and maintain a healthy, safe, and fun working environment Search, acquire and/or develop curriculum that enhances the overall program and education of the students at each age level including developmentally appropriate play and classroom environments Manage child assessments (screening, identification of special needs and partnering with local agencies) Quality assurance, training, coaching and recommendations for multi-site facilities Collaborate with Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) to ensure operational and financial fidelity Requirements Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a strong background in operations management. Minimum of bachelor’s degree in early education Must meet current Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and NAEYC Director credential requirements Minimum Professional Development Registry (PDR) level five Minimum of three years of management experience and ECE systems implementation Meet Administrator competencies Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and foster a team environment Strong oral, written, computer/technology communication skills Infant/Child CPR & First-Aid Certification Ability to work under pressure and noisy conditions and respond to numerous needs at once Able to handle exposure to bites, scratches, kicks and hitting from children Able to lift children of varying weights as needed; greater frequency for infants/toddlers. (lift a minimum of 30lbs comfortably). Must clear a full background check and comfortable with random background checks Multilingual (preferred but not required). Ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools, or controls; talk to and hear voices at many levels. May at times also be required to kneel, bend, squat, or crawl. A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
