Learning Center Director (Phase Family Learning Center) 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Norcross, GA 30071 The Phase Family Learning Center mission is to partner with families as their children navigate each “phase” of life. We are actively seeking a qualified Learning Center Director who will oversee the daily operations and administration of the Preschool, After School and Camps in our Norcross, Georgia location. The candidate will be experienced in the field of Early Childhood Development and Lead Management of the school. The Learning Center Director’s responsibilities include recruitment of staff, managing the daily operations of the preschool, coaching teachers, communicating, and creating meaningful relationships with families and teachers in our program. The Learning Center Director will work daily with the Assistant Director and the center’s administrative team. A Learning Center Director at Phase Family Center should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have experience working with Early Childhood Educators, and have a love for children, and families. At Phase Family Center, the Learning Center Director will determine the needs of the school, promise to keep it safe, build community, inspire growth, and bring the fun not only to our students and families, but to our staff.
Director Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operation of the Learning Center. Ensure the Learning Center remains in compliance with all state requirements. Ensure the Learning Center remains in compliance with all phase standards. Manage the staff daily schedule with the Assistant Director. Maintain positive relationships with families of the Center. Act as operational point of contact for the Phase Center Support team. Manage policies which conform to the [state licensing body name] requirements. Ensure that the property, facility, and equipment are well-maintained. Manage financial transactions in the dedicated Preschool Budget. Schedule training of CPR and First Aid for all members of staff and manage annual professional learning plans for each staff member. Schedule on-going training of teachers through monthly staff meetings and bi-annual training events. Oversee the quality and planning of snacks and meals. Champion and, when possible, increase the quality rating of the Learning Center. Manage tuition billing and collections. Requirements Degree in Early Childhood Development or related field 40 Hour Director Training Credential Minimum of 3 years experience in this role. Minimum of 3 years classroom experience. Strong leadership and administrative skills. Love for children and passion for teaching. No criminal record or child-related offenses. Must sign and uphold Victory Church employee standards.
