The position is a full-time role reporting directly to the Child Development Center Owner. The Director serves as an ambassador for the Center and employs effective marketing techniques to promote and encourage new families to join.

Duties:
  • managing and overseeing daily operations
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and implement educational programs and curriculum
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff members
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure program effectiveness
  • recruiting, hiring, and training new staff members
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and program updates
  • budget planning and financial management

WORK HOURS
Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday The Director is expected to work a forty hour work week. The schedule will be developed to ensure that there is appropriate management present during all hours of Center operation. The Director must always be available for consultation by telephone during operating hours in case of emergencies.

VACATION AND LEAVE

The Director is entitled to one week of paid vacation after six months of continuous service, two weeks after twenty-four months of continuous service and three weeks after three years of continuous service.
