The Administrator in Training program includes: Hands on training and Development by a seasoned Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, rotation through the various departments and duties in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility; education on the interrelationships of the facility with outside parties and government agencies (such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services); and a study of regulations and requirements associated with the operation of a skilled nursing facility. Other topics of education for those in the AIT position include business / fiscal accounting management and principles of risk management and health care compliance. Administrator in Training candidates must meet the minimum regulatory requirements for licensure in their state of intended residence.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must be located within 40 miles of facility Bachelors’ Degree Required Strong Department Management Skills Previous experience in elder care
