Child Care Center Director 1.5 1.5 out of 5 stars Holly Springs, NC 27540 Job Summary The Child Care Center Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This leadership position requires a passionate individual dedicated to fostering the growth and development of both children and staff. The Director will collaborate with parents, staff, and the community to create a positive atmosphere that promotes learning and development. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the child care center, including curriculum development, staff supervision, and compliance with licensing regulations. Increase school enrollment to remain at or near capacity. Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to ensure high-quality education and care. Foster positive relationships with parents through regular communication and involvement in their children’s education. Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors. Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and record keeping. Collaborate with community organizations to enhance program offerings and resources. Skills A degree from a university in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
