Job Description
USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app Managing the day-to-day operations of Keene State Owl Soccer Camps, including ensuring the safety of campers and staff, and overseeing the camp’s budget. The camp director also works to create a positive and enriching environment for campers and staff. The Camp Director encompasses leadership and administrative responsibilities, ensuring the seamless operation of camp activities and adherence to safety standards. As the face of the camp, the Camp Director embodies the camp’s mission and values, guiding the staff and shaping the experience of the campers.
Duties/Responsibilities Camp operations:
Oversee the daily operations of the camp, including scheduling activities, assigning campers to coaches, and ordering supplies Staff management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate camp staff
Safety:
Ensure the safety of campers and staff, and manage behavioral issues
Budgeting:
Establish and manage the camp’s budget, and control expenditures
Planning:
Plan for the upcoming camp season, including designing activities, hiring staff, and managing registration
Communication:
Manage communication with parents and staff
Reporting:
Provide updates and reports on camper registration and other camp activities Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 3-5-year experience working soccer camps First Aid/CPR and AED Certified The University System of New Hampshire is committed to providing a safe environment for all persons, including but not limited to children, and to prevent and respond to abuse, neglect and crimes against children.
