Preschool Program Director Position Available In Morris, New Jersey

Preschool Program Director Confidential Rockaway, NJ 07866 Responsibilities include overseeing all daily operation of the preschool including academic, personnel, financial record keeping, reports, schedules, suppliers, and equipment needs, janitorial services, continual evaluation of the curriculum, and the fulfillment of the requirements set forth by Morris county and the State of NJ for preschools. The position is for 25.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the academic school year of September to June. The program also includes a two week camp program in June at the close of the academic year. Summer hours are as needed, beginning at the close of the camp program. The responsibilities during the summer include scheduling tours of the school for prospective families, checking messages, gathering mail and any ad hoc tasks needed to ensure the successful operation of the school.

The Director candidate must possess:

A Master’s Degree in any field related to children OR a Bachelor’s Degree plus One year of managerial or supervisory experience

AND EITHER AN

Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development OR Six college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development AND Nine college credits in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or any other field related to child growth or development OR A Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential OR A Certified Child Care Professional (CCP) Certificate OR A Group Teacher endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for Childhood Professionals, Professional Impact New Jersey OR A New Jersey Infant/Toddler Credential administered through
