Bloomingdale Day Care is seeking a warm, reliable, and customer-focused individual to serve as our Center Director for a 3-month opportunity , with the potential to transition into a full-time, long-term role based on performance and program needs. This is a site-specific position and does not require travel between locations . About Bloomingdale Day Care Bloomingdale Day Care has been a trusted part of the community for over 40 years. We take pride in fostering a safe, joyful, and developmentally rich environment for children—while also providing support and consistency for the families we serve and the team we lead. What You’ll Do Serve as the face of the center, greeting families daily and ensuring their experience is positive and welcoming Build and maintain strong relationships with staff and parents Guide and support the classroom teaching teams with professionalism and warmth Manage daily operations and staff schedules to ensure smooth center flow Keep the facility clean, organized, and always ready for a tour Conduct engaging tours for prospective families and follow up on enrollment leads Maintain accurate records for children and staff Lead regular team meetings and encourage professional growth Collaborate with the owner and admin team to monitor and support center performance What We’re Looking For A genuine passion for early childhood education and a belief in the importance of consistency and care A customer-service mindset with excellent communication skills Strong organizational habits and follow-through Leadership ability and a willingness to learn on the job Comfort using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Forms) Familiarity with social media (Facebook, Instagram) a plus Must be dependable, adaptable, and solutions-oriented Valid Driver’s License required CPR & First Aid certification (within 90 days of hire)

Direct childcare or teaching experience is not required , but a deep respect for the work of our teachers and a readiness to support them is essential.
