This leadership position requires a passionate individual dedicated to fostering the growth and development of both children and staff. The Center Director will work collaboratively with families, staff, and community partners to provide high-quality early childhood education and care. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of center operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with regulations. Develop and implement educational programs that promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. Supervise and mentor staff to enhance their professional growth and ensure high standards of care and education. Foster positive relationships with families through effective communication and engagement strategies. Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness. Manage enrollment processes, including tours for prospective families and maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with community resources to support children with disabilities and their families. Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress and adapt programs as necessary to meet individual needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential; experience in caregiving or babysitting is a plus. Knowledge of classroom management techniques and early childhood education best practices. Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and developmental milestones for young children. Strong communication skills to effectively educate staff, engage families, and collaborate with community partners. Ability to work well with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating compassion and understanding in all interactions. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred or must be obtained within the first few months of employment.
