CSC is seeking a self-motivated, high performance professional with strong communication skills for a rewarding career as an Early Education Manager. Head Start/Early Head Start program has been designated as a Program of Excellence, one of twelve in the nation. This is a unique opportunity for an Early Childhood Professional to implement high quality programming based on best practice and current research in the field.
Work Environment:
A $1,000 monetary incentive will be paid to newly employed Community Services for Children staff members. The $1,000 payout will be paid upon successful completion of probation.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement and manage preschool classroom curriculum in accordance with agency standards Supervise designated staff and ensure the classroom is a safe learning atmosphere Evaluate programming for continuous quality improvement of educational readiness goals Promote teamwork within agency’s departments by initiating and facilitating team meetings Maintain documentation, ongoing data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure a productive educational environment Ensure all classrooms meet required Head Start, Pre-K Counts, Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards for Early Childhood, accreditation standards and other applicable regulations Provide classroom coverage as needed.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Five years’ experience as infant/toddler, pre-school teacher Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skill PQAS Certified Instructor or become a PQAS Certified Instructor within two years of hire. Certified CLASS Observer or become a Certified CLASS observer within two years of hire. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Ability to flex work hours to meet program requirements Valid driver’s license, car insurance and full time use of car.
