The Director will collaborate with parents, staff, and the community to promote a positive learning atmosphere while adhering to regulatory standards and best practices in education. Duties Lead and manage the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements. Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and align with developmental standards. Supervise, train, and evaluate staff to promote professional growth and enhance teaching effectiveness. Establish strong relationships with parents and families, providing regular communication regarding their child’s progress. Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and record-keeping to ensure smooth operations. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and social interaction among children. Collaborate with community organizations to enhance resources available for families and children. Skills Higher education teaching experience is preferred, particularly within a university setting.
