We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as our Preschool Director. Our preschool is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the preschool Complete all administrative duties related to DSS, ABC, and DHEC requirements Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards Support and supervise staff members to include advertising and filling vacancies, maintaining employee documentation, providing training, and completing required evaluations Maintain a safe and positive learning environment Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers using all types of technology including our childcare management software, Famly. Manage budget and resources effectively Manage and maintain student registration, class assignments necessary to maintain required ratios, school schedule to include special activities, and all student files Submit necessary documentation for invoicing tuition, processing grant funding, submitting ABC vouchers, and processing payroll Maintain and update handbooks, policies, and documents as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Early Childhood Education, or advanced degree with 18 credit hours in early childhood development/education, BA in any field with 6 months experience working with children in a childcare facility, Associate degree in related field with 18 hours in child development/education and 6 months experience working with children in a childcare facility, a diploma in child development/education (CDA) and one year work experience in a childcare facility, or high school diploma, GED and ECD101 with 3 years work experience in a childcare facility. Previous experience in a preschool setting is preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of early childhood development and education standards Registered with SC Endeavors CPR and First Aid certification Proficient in Excel software Proficient in Canva or other related software
