The Programming Coach is responsible for assisting the center’s management team in ensuring the health, safety and quality of education for all children in the center’s care. Under the direction of the Program Director, the programing coach collaborates with the staff to ensure that the curriculum and classroom activities are properly delivered, classroom management is optimal, and that the needs of the students are met. The program coach position has both administrative and teaching responsibilities. Administrative responsibilities include documenting a plan of action to align with classroom needs and supporting those needs by providing peer coaching, managing facility operations when needed, supporting families and teachers, and standing in for the management when they are off-site. Teaching responsibilities include covering in classrooms as needed and training new teachers that join the center, and helping ensure that programming is implemented throughout all classrooms.

REQUIREMENTS

Associates Degree in Child Development, Primary Education, or in related field – preferred 2+ years of leadership experience in a licensed child care facility, including oversight for preschool operations-preferred but not required Strong background in state licensing regulations and QRIS is a MUST Knowledgably about staffing, enrollment and budget management= preferred Demonstrated highly effective organizational, time management and multitasking skills Strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community Strong communication and customer-service skills
