This role involves working with students of various ages, implementing engaging lesson plans, and promoting a love for learning through innovative teaching methods. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and promote respectful behavior among students. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support the overall welfare of each child. Incorporate early intervention strategies for students who may require additional support in their learning journey. Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in children. Stay updated on best practices in education, including Montessori methods and special education strategies. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of early intervention techniques and child welfare practices. Experience in childcare settings, including daycare or preschool environments. Proficiency in teaching foundational subjects such as math and literacy. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Familiarity with special education principles to accommodate diverse learning needs. Experience in toddler care is a plus, particularly within Montessori frameworks.
