Infant/Toddler Teacher Eastern Shore Kids Kastle, Inc 10291 County Road 48, Fairhope, AL 36532 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, facilitating play-based learning experiences, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students in the classroom. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children’s progress in various developmental areas including social skills, language acquisition, and motor skills. Engage children in interactive activities that promote learning through play, creativity, and exploration. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development and daily activities. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that supports learning and development. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for children. Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with state regulations. Requirements Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with preschool curriculum frameworks is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory at the time of hire. A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not required.
