Job Summary:

Position is for a

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

Monday-Friday 2:45 or 3-5:30 We are seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the well-being of the children in our care.

Duties:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the center’s curriculum and educational goals
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, social skills, and cognitive development

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or

GED REQUIRED

• Previous experience in a daycare, tutoring, or classroom setting
• Strong understanding of child development principles
• Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
• Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment techniques
• Experience in toddler care and childcare settings
