Childcare Provider ROL Learning Center 10331 Highway 82, Centreville, AL 35042 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a nurturing and safe environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and the ability to engage with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves providing attentive care, facilitating educational and Biblical activities, and ensuring the well-being of each child in your care. Duties Supervise and monitor children’s safety at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide individualized care for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers including feeding, diapering/toileting, and comforting. Assist with behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions among children. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress and any concerns. Support children with special needs by implementing tailored strategies as needed. Foster an atmosphere of respect, kindness, and cooperation among children.

Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be 18 years or older.

Certifications:

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Must be able to pass a criminal history background check, child abuse and/or neglect central registry clearance, and a medical examination/ TB test.

Knowledge:

Understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create and implement engaging activities including Biblical and educational. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualities:

Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic. Passionate about early childhood education and child development. Creative, enthusiastic, and energetic. Able to adapt to changing situations and needs. Dedicated to providing a nurturing and safe environment for children.
