Preschool Teacher The Well Academy Preschool Scottsboro, AL 35769 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their development through engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The Preschool Teacher will implement a curriculum that aligns with our educational philosophy, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate math, literacy, and behavior management strategies. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Provide individualized support to children, including those with special education needs. Utilize Montessori methods to facilitate hands-on learning experiences. Conduct assessments and standardized testing as needed to monitor student progress. Engage in effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior among students. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and classroom activities. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall learning experience within the preschool setting. Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalent. Experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly in a classroom setting. Knowledge of Montessori principles and practices is a plus. Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
