The ideal Preschool teacher candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young preschool children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Kiddie Academy Preschool Teacher, you will implement age-appropriate curricula, engage in meaningful interactions with students, and ensure the overall well-being of each child in your care. Duties Educate and engage children through play-based learning activities that promote curiosity and exploration. Provide toddler care by attending to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a positive learning environment. Develop and implement curriculum tailored to the developmental stages of preschool-aged children. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children in understanding appropriate social interactions. Conduct standardized testing as required to assess children’s progress and development. Offer tutoring support for children needing additional assistance in specific areas of learning. Prioritize child welfare by ensuring a safe and healthy preschool classroom environment. Stay informed about childhood development principles to support the growth of each child. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children’s progress and address any concerns regarding their education or behavior. Support children with special education needs by adapting teaching methods and materials accordingly. Job Requirements Candidates should possess a background in early childhood education or a related field, with at least 1 year experience in a large, licensed childcare building. Familiarity with preschool curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and knowledge of preschool childhood development principles are essential for success in this role. Must be able to lift 40 pounds and move from a sitting to standing position.
